I recently completed my 200hr Hatha Vinyasa teacher training at Earth Yoga Village and could not have had a better experience. The course itself was incredibly in depth, with a nice balance between the more philosophical/psychological teachings of Yoga and the asana and anatomy/physiology aspect. Our teachers were knowledgeable, open, supportive and cultivated a really safe space for us to learn. The food was INCREDIBLE - everything made fresh, preservative and gluten free, vegan and above all delicious. There was so much beautiful food that we were so well fueled for our jam packed schedule and never went hungry. I shared a 4-bed dorm which was super cute and comfortable. If you are a light sleeper I recommend earplugs and an eye mask and you'll sleep like a baby. I really enjoyed the gong wake up call as this meant I could sleep without my phone by the bed. The two shalas were really beautiful, surrounded by greenery, one larger covered shala with mosquito nets and the other a smaller, open air shala - both perfect spaces to practice and very well equipped with all the props you could need. I learnt so much on my course and had the most transformative time at Earth Yoga Village. The community and way of life they create for you while you are there is so perfect, you will not want to leave! I can't wait to go back for further training in the future - thank you Anand, Karolina, Kathrin, Durgesh and the rest of the wonderful team!
