Overview

Earth Yoga Village is a yoga community that lives consciously in connection with nature. With this program we offer a unique opportunity to fully immerse into the world of yoga and community living as well as further deepen your knowledge and qualify as a Pranayama & Meditation teacher for 100 Yoga Alliance accredited hours under the Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Program. Taking the time to absorb and reflect upon lecture materials, your own asana practice and familiarise yourself with teaching while at the same time apply yogic principles.

Prayanama 

Pranayama deals with subtler aspect of our being, letting us go deeper into ourselves.into our pranic body.We are moving from the structured body to the energetic with the help of breath & respiratory system  to develop a functional, mindful approach to the practice.

Meditation

Meditation is a wonderful tool to train our minds deal with unfamiliar situations better. its helps to us to rewire as well as be comfortable with whatever generating in our inner world to feel, deal & heal in order to grow better at life.its about mastering the mind & our time in this body  the very life. It reduces daily stress by turning our attention inward for your own healing awareness, and dharana - concentration, meditation to deepen our yoga & overall experience of our life in this body.

Saturdays are your days off.

You will be engaged in doing karma yoga voluntarily in your free time during the teacher training to learn and practice yoga holistically.

Day 1 is dedicated to you settling in to the village and attending the Opening Ceremony in the late afternoon/evening, followed by dinner.

We therefore suggest you arrive at the village at the latest by 2pm on Day 1 to not miss out. 

The Closing Ceremony will be on day before departure day of  the course ( Friday ), rest day of Saturday followed by departure on the last day ( Sunday ). Check-out time is 11am.

Requirements

 

A high degree of self-motivation is required for all aspects of the course. Basic knowledge of yoga postures and philosophy is helpful. A sincere desire to learn and an open mind to the teachings of yoga is required. Self-discipline is required during the course as it is physically, mentally and spiritually demanding - and also highly rewarding!

 

We encourage students to apply for the course when they are fully ready on a holistic level and committed to meeting the challenges of the course and accepting the joys with an open heart. These are important attributes that will add to your learning experience during the course and also to the learning experience of your fellow students.

 

This course will be taught in English, therefore it is recommended that you are proficient in the language.

 

To ensure the success of the programme, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures and asana classes.

This program is designed for 200 HRS Yoga TTC graduates (RYT 200) to enhance their knowledge & go deeper into self.

What's not included

  • Flight

  • Airport transfer

(we can organise pick-up on request at an extra charge of INR 1,800  from 8am to 8pm & INR 2,000 from 8pm to 8am. The driver will assist you all the way to the village with your luggage without any extra charge or tips. In case of a flight delay you will have to pay INR 200 per hour after the 1st hour extra payable to driver directly ). 

 

Cancellation Policy

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Postponement of the course is allowed with  in 12 months of booking date if informed 30 days prior to start of the course

Notes

  • You must have a valid visa to enter India.

  • It is advisable to take out travel and medical insurance in the event that you have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Earth Yoga Village accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illness which may occur while at Earth Yoga Village or when travelling to or from the village.

  • Earth Yoga Village takes necessary measures to ensure that students are not stretched beyond the limit of their capabilities. We ask that you tell the teacher if you have any particular pre-existing injury or illness that is relevant or if you are finding the class too difficult. We advise that if you are feeling any pain or illness during class that you stop and rest.

  • If you request for us to organise your taxi, transfers are valid between mentioned locations only. They are not transferrable to another location, nor refundable. Taxis can take no more than three guests per car with luggage. Please only take the taxi that has been booked for you as you will be liable to pay for the cost for the pre-booked taxi. Additional charges will have to be paid for delays over one hour.
